Double Date Packing’s new headquarters is centrally located in the heart of the agricultural rich Coachella Valley. Designed to meet the current and future needs of the date growing and packaging company, this new facility is convenient located near highway access, and provides a one-stop facility for sorting, cleaning, processing, freezing, drying and shipping of all their date products that are locally grown. The primary building consists of administrative offices, employees lounge, processing center, cooler for short-term storage use and shipping docks. Several accessory buildings on the property provide freezer storage, truck scale house and guard shack, and dryer buildings. Construction of the headquarters facility is primarily pre-engineered steel buildings with metal insulated panels and also includes conventional wood framing construction.
